2010 OUTLAW RULES

CHASSIS AND BODY: Full cage required. Maximum body width 83 inches. Maximum body height is 38 inches at back of car. Car must measure no more than 50 inches from center rear axle to back of body or bumper. Bumper ends must be rounded. No sideboards allowed. 8 inch spoiler allowed. Fuel: alcohol or gas allowed.

Left and right side window panels must match: both must be covered (clear lexan or equivalent) or both must be left open.

Brake bias adjusters are allowed. No other adjustable components are allowed within reach of seated driver.

TIRES: Hoosier Spec 55  

WEIGHT: Minimum of 2250 pounds with driver after race.

THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO ALL CLASSES:

The following actions will result in suspension: use of nitrous oxide, alcohol or drug use, dumping gas, oil or chemicals, going to another pit spot in anger, use of traction device of any kind. NEVER approach the flag stand, you will be listened to after the races. During the race: work on car during yellow must be done in the pits. Minor work and refueling ok on red, with two (2) pit crew per car. All tire changes must be done in pits. Any car overrunning time by .9 seconds will be disqualified.

ALL CARS: Must have muffling device resulting in 95 dba at 100 ft. Super traps to be used only with other muffling device. The loudest car over the limit will be sent to the pits for the night. Must have pick up hook, hoop or chain. Must be self starting with full size battery and must be strapped down. Must have clutches except in automatics. All added weight must be bolted to frame with a minimum of two ½ inch bolts. All added weight and drivelines must be painted white, silver, or florescent. Any rub rails must be 1inch from body. Bumper ends must be inset 2 inches from outside edge of tire and must be smooth. No sharp edges. Must have track approved floorboards. Acceptable appearance of car will be by track approval. Numbers must be 18 inches on top and sides. Number must be in center of side door.Number on roof must be readable on the front stretch from the grandstands.Must have 5 inch numbers on front and rear of car. No chrome or mylar numbers. (interferes with timing light)

Full face helmet and gloves required. No short sleeves. Fire suit and neck brace highly recommended. No mirrors, wings, radios or anti-freeze.
