Lebanon, Oregon- On Saturday June 8th at Willamette Speedway will be Fan Appreciation Night. Knecht’s Auto Parts will be the evenings sponsor in what will be the first ever night of its kind in the modern era of the 1/3-mile clay oval. It is an event where during the course of the night the track will be filled with parked race cars with their drivers beside them. From there fans can receive autographs or hero cards from their favorite drivers and take a picture or two with them as well.
“This is the first time to my knowledge that Willamette has done this,” commented General Manager Chris Nofziger, “it should be a great night for the fans and my hat off to Knecht’s for coming on board to sponsor this race. The fans here are what make this place one of the greatest race tracks on the planet.”
