Lebanon, Oregon- After last weekend’s disappointing rain out Willamette Speedway is excited to return to racing on Saturday, June 17th. The historic 1/3-mile clay oval will be hosting the popular Fan Appreciation Night. All six staple classes will be in attendance including the Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets. It will be MAIN EVENTS ONLY for the racing program.

The weekend fun doesn’t stop there as the 17th Annual Tuff Truck and Trash Car Show will be on Sunday, the 18th. Saturday’s program is where all cars in the pits are rolled out onto the track and you get an opportunity to meet and greet your favorite drivers, so be sure to take advantage of this unique opportunity. Several drivers will have pictures or hero cards to hand out but are always up for posing for pictures with their awesome fans.

Collen Winebarger has won the most Super Late Model victories in 2017 with his two trips to victory lane, including last weekend. Bricen James is the only other feature winner. In the IMCA Modifieds Winebarger and James have one each.

Jordan Wright, Chris Mott, and Gill Pickett have made it three different Super Sport victors in as many shows. The same statistic can be said for the Sportsman as James Slover, Sandy Sanders, and Jeff Titus have all tasted success. In the Street Stocks David Cronk has the most number of wins in the victory column, with two, over his own son Brian and Kevin Roberts. In the Hornets Tracy Muse has two wins over John Gartner’s one.
