Winebarger, James, Wright, Emry, Langan, And Muse Claim Driver’s Appreciation Night Victories

Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway would have a big crowd and a good sized car count to compliment the evening. The historic 1/3-mile clay oval hosted the annual Drivers Appreciation Night on Saturday, August 5th. Classes in action included the Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets.
Collen Winebarger would be the driver finishing on top at the end of the Super Late Model main event. It would be the Corbett chauffeurs fourth win of the current campaign. Albany’s Bricen James conquered the IMCA Modified field for his second Mod win of the year.
In the Super Sports it would be Jordan Wright crossing the line first. It is the second win of the season for the Toledo native as he would pilot the entry owned by Dan Deibele. Ryan Emry would once again best the field in the Sportsman division. Emry now has three wins in 2017.
Andrew Langan made the trip from Jasper to finish on top in the Street Stocks. It is the first win of the season at Willamette for Langan. In the Hornets Albany driver Tracy Muse collected win number six.
Willamette Speedway returns to racing on Saturday, August 12th for the return of the Wingless Sprint Series. In addition to the Non-Wing 360s the Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets will also be in attendance.
Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00. For more information log on to www.trophymotorsports.com.
