Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway will pay tribute to it’s former longtime owner and operator this weekend as it hosts the annual Clair Cup. Ran in honor of the late Clair Arnold the historic 1/3-mile clay oval will be in action this Friday, May 25th, and Saturday, the 26th. Both nights Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks.

All sorts of bonuses will be up for grabs during the weekend and there will also be a throwback format utilized. For more information check out the previously released press release regarding that information at http://www.trophymotorsports.com/news/?i=60278 .

Joey Tanner and Rob Mayea are the two Super Late Model winners thus far in 2018. In the IMCA Modifieds John Campos and Collen Winebarger have been the only two to strike success. Winebarger has two wins while Campos has just one.

In the IMCA Sport Mods Jorddon Braaten and Justin McCreadie have split the two events that have been ran already this year. The Super Sports have yet to see a repeat winner in their division as Doug Elkins, Chris Mott, and Randy Barley have won once each. Steve Piefer is the one and only Sportsman victor as they have just gotten a single race in the 2018 books completed.

Last but not least the action-packed Street Stocks will look to wow fans. They have had three races with three different winners and all three have resulted in a mad dash to finish. Kyle Yeack, Dakota Godard, and Collen Winebarger have all graced victory lane thus far.

Both nights Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00. For more information log on to www.trophymotorsports.com.
