Lebanon, Oregon- With Super Late Models and IMCA Modifieds having the night off it will be the Super Sport division taking center stage on Saturday, August 13th at Willamette Speedway. They will be on hand for the Super Sport Twin 50’s brought to you by the fine folks at Crockers Cars, Knothole Market, and Schram Brothers Excavating. In addition, there will also be the Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets.

Brian Thompson has had an incredible season in the Super Sport ranks accumulating a total of five victories this year. Randy Barley has won a respectable three occasions while Brian Winkler, Dan Deibele, and Sean Cronk have one win each.

In the Sportsman, there have been nine races in the current campaign. Of those nine events, Tom Yeack has won eight of them. Still, the only driver to beat him at this point is Jeff Rash.

In the Street Stocks, Justin Evans has taken over the lead in the win column. Evans now has three victories over Chris Sine and David Cronk’s two. A lengthy list of drivers constitutes the rest of the column of victory as single-race winners including Mikey Brakeall, Joey Tanner, Kevin Roberts, Andrew Langan, Kyle Yeack, Donald Schott, and Shannon Horn.

In the Hornets, the battle for the most wins continues. Tracey Muse and Rowe Lovvorn are all level with five wins to each of their credit. The only other driver to have won is Tylor Owen during the Great American Hornet Challenge.

Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Juniors/Seniors/Military $10.00, Youths $5.00, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00. Front Gates open at 3:30 PM and Racing kicks off at 6:30. For more information, log on to www.trophymotorsports.com.
