September 15th Protect The Crops/Thank A Farmer Night Next For Willamette; Kart Championship On Sunday

Lebanon, Oregon- After taking last weekend off Willamette Speedway is set for action this Saturday, September 15th. Billed as Protect The Crops/Thank A Farmer Night, the historical 1/3-mile clay oval has Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets all in the house. Sunday, the 16th, will be the final race for the Karts with Hot Laps, followed by racing, scheduled to get kicked off around Noonish.

For Saturday Front Gates open at 3:00 PM with Racing around 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00. The Super Late Models are lead in points, as well as main event wins, by Joey Tanner with his four trips to victory lane. Trent Elliott and Casey Vitale have two to their credit with Dan Deibele, McLain Beaudoin, Tony Toste, Jason Papich, and Rob Mayea recording one triumph. In the IMCA Modified ranks Collen Winebarger still has the most victories in the class, at six. Both Bricen James and Dustin Cady each have five and Grey Ferrando joining them with two apiece. John Campos is a two-time victor while Kevin Smith has just one.

In the Super Sports Doug Elkins is the standings leader and the guy with the most wins, at six. B.J. Donofrio has five and Randy Barley has managed to pick up three. Vahn Stone, Joey Tanner, Chris Mott, and McLain Beaudoin joins the class in the victor’s table with one each. Ryan Emry is still the man to beat in the Sportsman division with his five trips to the winner’s circle. Jeff Rash, Randy Boyd, Tom Yeack, and James Slover are both two-time victors with Steve Piefer and Chad Slover all winning once.

Justin Evans is at the top of the list as far as Street Stock wins are concerned, with five. Kyle Yeack and Dakota Godard have three each while Kevin Roberts has two. Brody Sim, Joey Cannon, Collen Winebarger, and McKenzie Lockhart all have the honor of visiting the winner’s circle once. K.C. Scott is both the point leader and accumulated the most victories with four. Eddie Farness has three over two-time winners Travis Koch and Tracy Muse. Eric Ashley, James Donaldson, Josh Corley, and Matt Diller have gotten the job done one time.
