Lebanon, Oregon- The engines will roar and the clay will fly at Willamette Speedway not once but twice this coming weekend. First the Karts will have their 2015 debut on Friday May 1st while the 1/3-mile clay oval will be in action for the third race of the season on Saturday the 2nd. The Saturday night race is Fight Hunger Night and for folks that bring a can of non-perishable food will receive a discount of $2.00 off their admission.

General Admission to the Friday Kart race will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $30.00. The Pit Gate will open up around 4:00 PM and Racing is scheduled to begin around 6:30.

Classes racing on Saturday will be the Super Dirt Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Sportsman, and Street Stocks. All four divisions are sure to produce some great racing and will take your breath away.

Defending track champion Rob Mayea is the winner of the one and only Super Dirt Late Model feature of the season. Mayea was very fast at the April 18th race so it will be interesting to see if he will keep the momentum up.

Dustin Cady picked up the win in the first IMCA Modified race of the season last Saturday after a late race move around Bricen James. Cady is on a streak of two straight wins, going as far back as the last race of 2014, but will he make it three in a row Saturday?

In Sportsman competition two drivers have won in two different races. Jeff Rash won the first one on April 18th while last week Sandy Sanders parked it in the winner's circle.

Like the Sportsman, the Street Stocks have had two different winners in as many races. Justin Evans got the job done on April 18th and last Saturday it was Steve Jorgensen winning his first career Willamette victory.

On Saturday the Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
