Lebanon, Oregon- Shriner’s Cup 2019 would be a memorable one at Willamette Speedway. The Saturday, July 13th race had a pit area full of race cars with eight divisions on the card. The Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, IMCA Sport Mods, Sportsman, Street Stocks, IMCA Stock Cars, and Hornets all would shred the clay at the 1/3-mile clay oval.

Joey Tanner, of Portland, returned to victory lane in the Super Late Models after a brief hiatus. It marked the sixth occasion that Tanner has bested the field. Albany’s Dustin Cady scored his second triumph of 2019 in the IMCA Modified ranks. B.J. Donofrio, from Salem, won his sixth race of the current campaign in the Super Sport division. Brookings native Matt Sanders got the job done for the first time this year in the IMCA Sport Mods.

Crawfordsville chauffeur Tom Yeack once more was in the winner’s circle lifting his fifth trophy of the season. Mikey Burnham, of Lebanon, once more beat the competition in the Street Stocks for win number two of 2019. Vancouver, Washington’s Jerry Schram became the newest winner in the IMCA Stock Car class. Lastly, Eddie Farness, hailing out of Sandy, crossed the wire first for the ninth feature triumph in the Hornet division.

Willamette Speedway has another full night of racing on Saturday, July 20th. The Wingless Sprint Series will be in town for their first appearance of 2019. Also, in attendance will be the Super Late Models, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets.

Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Seniors (62+)/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, and Kids (5 or Under) FREE with a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) being offered for $35.00. Front Gates open at 4:00 PM and Racing at starts at 5:00.
